The cable reel in this scheme can be installed on the PS or STBD deck (suitable for RO-RO ships) or on the middle of the deck (equipped with cable rollers). The shore power receiving panel can be formed into a separate panel or the MSB can realize relevant functions. The system is mainly composed of cable reel, connection switchboard, transformer and shore power receiving panel, and is generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.
2.1.2 HV single reel, double plugs type alternative maritime power solution
This scheme adopts the low-voltage synchronizing mode where shore power connecting to MSB through the step-down transformer, the shore power capacity greater than 500kW. The shore power receiving panel can be formed into a separate panel or the MSB can realize relevant functions. The system is mainly composed of cable reel, connection switchboard, shore power transformer and shore power receiving panel, and is generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.

2.1.3 HV double reels, single plug type alternative maritime power solution
This scheme adopts the low-voltage synchronizing mode where shore power connecting to MSB through the step-down transformer, the shore power capacity greater than 500kW. The shore power receiving panel can be formed into a separate panel or the MSB can realize relevant functions. The system is mainly composed of cable reels, connection switchboard, shore power transformer and shore power receiving panel, and is generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.

2.1.4 HV double reels, double plugs type alternative maritime power solution
(1) HV double reels, double plugs type alternative maritime power solution (LV synchronizing mode)
The HV connection switchboard is connected to the receiving panel by the step-down transformer for ships with shore power capacity greater than 500kW and the ship's MSB is low-voltage. The shore power receiving panel can be formed into a separate panel or the MSB can realize relevant functions. The system is mainly composed of cable reels, connection switchboard, shore power transformer and shore power receiving panel, and is generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.
(2) HV double reels, double plugs type alternative maritime power solution (HV synchronizing mode)
This scheme does not need to configure a step-down transformer, and the HV connection switchboard is directly connected to the receiving panel for ships with shore power capacity greater than 500kW and the ship's MSB is low-voltage. The shore power system is mainly composed of cable reels, connection switchboard and shore power receiving panel, and is generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.

2.2 Containerized alternative maritime power solutions
2.2.1 Containerized HV alternative maritime power solution
(1) Container HV alternative maritime power solution (LV synchronizing mode)
The shore-side cable reel and ship-side cable reel are installed in the container for the connection of on-shore power supply and on-board AMP system, the system is mainly composed of containerized cable reel system (shore-side cable reel, ship-side cable reel and connection switchboard inside),HV/LV socket box, connection switchboard, shore power transformer and shore power receiving panel, and generally equipped with AC 7.2kV and 350A plug.
